Dear Parents and Students,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I WELCOME you to our school.  Old Town Elementary is an amazing school and I know our new families and incoming Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students will love being a part of our learning community. Our school has a caring and hardworking staff that truly desires to help each child reach their potential.  We are ready to face the challenges of a new school year, and will continue to focus on academic excellence for all students.
~As you return to Old Town Elementary, you will notice we have a few new additions to our family.  Please welcome the following new members: Dawn Corbin (5th grade), Carla Boyd (3rd), Chelsie Edmonds (2nd), Donna Dillard (1st), Emma Kate Redd (Kg).
Please remember the following policies have been put into place to protect the instructional time of our students and teachers.
  • Any student that arrives to school after 8:00 will be escorted to their class by the front office.
  • Any student being checked out before 2:05 will be sent to the front office by their classroom teacher. (Parents will not be permitted to walk to the classrooms to pickup children.).
  • All transportation changes must be made by 1:30.  Any transportation change received after 1:30 will have to be approved by administration.
  • Please do not allow your children to bring any electronics to school.  If they are found, parents will be required to pick them up in the front office.
  • Please don’t allow you children to wear flip flops to school.
  • OTES is making student attendance our top priority.  Please read the student handbook to ensure you know our attendance policy.
  • The front gates open at 7:35 A.M.  PLEASE DO NOT DROP YOUR CHIDLREN OFF BEFORE 7:35!
These policies are intended to aid our goal of continuous personal and academic improvement.  We are looking forward to the 2017-2018 school year. We ask for your support, involvement, and commitment to the educational journey that lies ahead.~
