AP Exams are rigorous, multiple-component tests that are administered at high schools each May.  Students can earn college credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP Exam scores.

Students may register for the ACT and/or SAT online using the links below.  Students that qualify for free or reduced lunch are eligible to receive two fee waivers while in high school.  Visit the guidance office to get help with registration or request a fee waiver.

The ASVAB was developed by the US Department of Defense and designed to encourage students to increase their level of self-knowledge and to understand how that information could be linked to occupational characteristics.  Seniors at DCHS have to opportunity to participate in the ASVAB Career Exploration Program.

The ASVAB has been designed to help ALL students:
*students that enter the workforce immediately upon graduation
*students that attend a university or community college
*students that attend a technical / vocational program
*students that enter the military

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a multiple choice standardized test administered in October by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation in the United States.

An estimated 1.3 million high school sophomores and juniors take the test each year.  Scores from the PSAT are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program (11th graders only).
